Planning a Wedding - Venue Decoration
When you go to look at a venue have a think before about what colours you may have or what theme and see if that venue would work with them. If you look at a manor house with traditional or dark decor but you are looking at having a pink colour scheme it may not work as well as a modern venue with more neutral colours.
The choice of venue decoration is endless, whether you go for drapes, bunting, lanterns, flowers or lights there is so much to choose from.
Here are our top ten venue decorations.
1) Burlap and Lace Bunting
Easy to make and affordable, these burlap and lace bunting can make a real difference to a venue when hung across the ceiling.
Light the aisle with candles if you are having a late afternoon or evening ceremony, especially in winter for a true romantic feel.
3) Country Barn
This country barn looks great with the light strips across the ceiling and the green and white flowers.
4) Heart Confetti
This heart confetti is a good DIY idea. They look fantastic and make a huge difference to this venue hung from the ceiling.
5) Indoor Garden Wedding
I adore this decoration and it is probably only a dream for most of us as i can imagine the flower bill would be huge! Beautiful though.
Using lights effectively is a fantastic way to change a venue instantly. These trees have been covered in fairy lights and look amazing down the aisle.
7) Material Drapes
These material drapes look great in all the different colours and textures and are finished off perfectly with lights.
8) Metallic Lanterns
I have seen so many pictures where lanterns have been used as decoration and they always look great whether they are in pastels, dark colours or metallic as shown here.
9) Sheer Chair Covers
In some venues the chairs can be lovely and a feature of their own, but some can be a little hideous and need to be covered by chair covers. You can go for the plain which with ribbons around but there are many more options available like this sheer cover finished with a sheer frill.
10) Tea Party
A popular theme for couples at the moment. I love this styling with the drapes, bunting and centre pieces.
